The Holy Mountain of Braj Bhoomi
Revered as the physical manifestation of Lord Krishna Himself, Govardhan Hill (Giriraj Ji) holds an incomparable place in Vedic worship. According to Shrimad Bhagavatam, Lord Krishna lifted this entire hill on the little finger of His left hand for seven days and nights to shield the residents and cattle of Braj from the torrential wrath of Lord Indra.
Performing the sacred 21-kilometer Govardhan Parikrama is considered one of the highest acts of devotion. Devotees visit from across the globe on Guru Purnima (Mudiya Poono Mela), Ekadashi, and Annakoot Govardhan Puja.
As Mathura DMC (A Unit of KV Tours Pvt. Ltd.), we provide dedicated ground logistics to ensure your travel clients complete their Parikrama in supreme comfort, with zero logistical friction.
The 21 KM Parikrama Breakdown
The circumambulation is divided into two distinct halves:
Begins from Dan Ghati Mandir → Anyor Village → Govinda Kund → Puchhari Ka Lautha → Concludes at Jatipura Mukharbind Temple (where divine milk abhishekam is performed).
Begins from Jatipura → Mansi Ganga lake → Historic sandstone pavillions of Kusum Sarovar → Holiest bathing ponds of Radha Kund & Shyam Kund → Returns to Dan Ghati.
